Take a Knee My Fellow Poets
Coast to coast and sea to sea.
Look around you my friends and take a knee.
Take a knee for the God you worship, whomever that may be.
I'll pray for mine to help you, and maybe you can ask yours to help me.
I'm not so blind that I can't comprehend.
We don't all pray the same, so why pretend.
I'm not amended divergent from thee.
Let's join our hearts, so all can see.
We require each other, there is no other approach.
We have our own beliefs, just like we have our own coach.
Let's come together, show some universal love.
Whether you speculate or not, we have a common threat to get rid of.
