Tainted Love
My darling I have come to see
How much you truly mean to me
Even though your hearts with another
We are so good for each other
You may not see it now
And you may be asking how
How do you truly know?
Do you even see my woes?
To be torn in this relationship
Is very hard for me
To sit back and watch you be
With another woman other than me
So my dear I'll let you go
And this only goes to show
If you love someone let them go
If they come back it was meant to be
And if not it will be only me
For my darling I am truly special
And I know this now
You may ask me how
I realize I only need one man
Even when times were tough he never ran
That is the man, the love of my life
The man I know as Jesus Christ
