Tailed- Rhyme
This is my meager try at a tailed-rhyme
flowing slow and steady spaced across the line
hit or miss, a quality expressed but un-refined
why write poetry so unfamiliar?
It was like a dream calling out loud to me
marking a world surreal for me to try and see
and easier it often fails to achieve the decree,
why did ancient poets play this game?
Who's to say at the end of this scrawl
other poets successfully give their poetic all
but alas, all efforts surpass the mind's stoned wall,
and me, I struggle with articulated eloquence.
