On looking through the window A humorous sight I'd seen, A quartet of lively ewes Were playing Tag on the green. Leaping over twisted logs, Around the rocks they skipped, Sweeping round the bendy field. Down and up they dipped. Butting heads and locking horns, Bumping each other in the side - ( I think if I was one of them I'd be terrified! ) At times it looked violent. But it's their way of having fun. What a joy to watch these adult sheep Baa and play and run!

Sweet! Love the 'quartet of lively ewes'. I wish I had your window on the world. I like the way the rhythm supports the ewes frolic. The rhymes were smooth and gave a fun tone.

Thank You Jeanette. I just saw the four of them playing and it just made me smile. So I thought about capturing the moment in a poem the way a photographer does or an artist with a painting. :-D
