Taboo (Repost)

A lust redrawn, a passion
under wraps, recasts the theme
and sings a different tune.

A travesty of love most people say,
an instance of familial abuse,
it's not the usual way.

They struggle with the stigma,
they battle with a feeling others cannot share,
they care, just in a different manner.

A rrcognition of what happens behind closed doors is often the tragedy that forms a person. A sad truth nobody seems to be able to deal with. I wonder if this is written from experience.

I love this line: "a passion under wraps..." absolutely GORGEOUS. I wish I had used it in one of MY poems. =)
