Syzygy

Skies align moon, sun, and earth below eternity. Come, calls joyous night, rise from dreams. (Oh, I wish I were weightless!) In silver, I am found as heaven parts clouds, and a perigee moon p u l l s me closer to dance. Written 6/3/20 for Edward Ibeh's Yalto Poetry Contest 2 Title - Syzygy

Thanks for the visit, GW, and don't feel bad. I had no idea until I wrote this poem for the yalto contest. Syzygy is when the earth, moon and sun align , although the term can apply to other planets and orbs aligning. xx Rhonda
