Syncopation
Syncopation
Having just sent out a batch of new music based on middle kingdom Egyptian vocals I begin to wonder if it is
not ego trying to triumph over my sister-in-law's annual tomes delivered each Christmas with full face and no
nonsense although she has weakened and laughed when it was just too good
Depressed in Akumal till she asked me about art
My family
And the future
That was before the wind bothered Susan
And the men stopped
Late night margueritas
A darkly lit movie theatre
Years ago
Two sisters
Two faces
Two lives
Beautiful
When the lights came up
Then came
Kids
Car keys
Small trains
Grey picnics
Thank god
Someone in the kitchen
Saying
I wasn't so bad
Saved my life
Visits to a warm home
Seeing my past art
Jogs
Pleasant
Memories
.... Someone
Always saying: "Eric how is your art coming along?"
And someone else.
You
Saying
"I love the one that looks like you are entering a garden"
