SYMPHONY OF THE SUNRISE
Dawn begins with a long soft single note
Simple, yet the planet Earth slowly spins
With all the momentum that it can afford
And rays of sunlight join, to form a chord
As gradually, over the dark, daylight wins
Following what the great composer wrote
The night’s dissonance turns into harmony
Volume swells as brightness hits the eyes
With the sound restoring a perfect vision
The melody of the morning in repetition
And then a crescendo comes as a surprise
As the sunrise becomes all that it can be
