Symmetry
Symmetry
Does the art you suffer
match images in your head?
What beauty do you see
in objects others forgot?
You hide your verse
and the sight of blood
behind your eyes
from relatives
who’d confine you.
In the middle of the night
you dance for me
in a grocery store aisle
and I am pleased
to see the joy you display
when your detractors
let you be.
