Symbols of Love

I see within the hand, another
Where two hearts, as fingers,
Intertwine, interact, and exchange

What God has created as tools
He also allows us to use for love
Affection, respect and salutation

The hands, the first thing extended
To welcome, to bid farewell, to caress
To let another know that they care

My hands are filled with those
Of others that wish to extend and hold
I offer you, my friend, my hand
