In the division of contemplations
Among fish
Emendations shared
Omniscience declared
Axioms accepted in
Fading light
Watching them swim
In never-ending circles
Of inductive argument
Undetected in the limits of
aquatic sight
Wondering if they too
Wonder about intelligent life
Beyond the confines of the fishbowl
Swimming at the precipice
Of the abyss
