Swept Away

the fire and i
are both
dying

life is like
that in
that

even the
phoenix
needs a

flame
for me
to speak

your name
sparks my
heart's

ashes yearning
to burst forth
from the urn

fall to earth
from the
mantle

to the hearth
then fly with
the wind

Thank you Richard. Have you ever pondered could there possibly ever be a last pheonix?
