Sweetest of Any Kiss

If a question were to be asked 
Would the truth with lies be masked 
Would lies be whispered in someone's ear 
Because it may be what they want to hear 

Would a promise be made;then not kept 
Not doing what another from you expects 
A broken promise resembles a lie 
It can hurt and make someone cry 

The words that are spoken can't be taken back 
So tell no fiction;let the words be fact 
The truth if spoken will be like gold 
So speak with honesty and be bold 

Words spoken with truth from sincere lips 
Can heal and strengthen our relationships 
An honest answer is a precious gift 
It is like the sweetest of any kiss
