Sweetest of All

Sweetest of All

Sweetest of all, I have ever seen
Fairer than the rose, lonely in green;
Heavens smile when they behold
A unique face like flowers of gold

Sweetest of all, I have ever heard
In the garden of love unto nightingales’ throat
And in sweet notes of heavenly dove,
Though they sing to define love

Farthest of all, I have ever thought
And felt in the beats of my broken heart;
Closest of all, I have ever been
Whilst, thou become to be unseen
