Sweet Surrender

I won't surrender, I came from nature, She led me through my adult life, Like silkworm silk spun to a filature. Showing me how to wrongs denature So sadly failing, for hate and war is rife! Although still focused, my mind is ailing, Full of compassion but o so very tender. Like on stormy oceans, rough, rough sailing. My mind focused, my strength badly failing. So close to my final sweet surrender!
