Sweet Silence
There is much to be said about silence,
all the peace within the air;
To listen to the crickets in the night,
and you can put to rest all cares.
A quiet mind can easily unwind,
the pressures of hard fought day;
You can laugh and cry in silence,
and let emotions have their way.
You can reminisce on days gone by,
or make some future plans;
because when your alone with silence,
the future's in your hands.
So seek a place to call your own ,
where you and silence meet;
For when you spend time with silence,
then silence makes that time so sweet.
