Sweet Revenge

I remember how hip we were
     Our old fuddy-duddy Latin teacher
fell on the ice, broke her hip
We howled all day: Good for her

Time passes, now it’s our turn
Slips and stumbles make one humble
Our Latin teacher’s sweet revenge ~
Avenged at last, her long, slow burn

how clever this poem is and with a valid point....as my mom always said, 'what goes around, comes around.' well executed, Gershon.

I enjoyed reading your "Sweet Revenge" write. Things look different with age. Have a fun day writing away.........
