Sweet Red Rose

Hello from this side of the ranges
I stand looking at the blooming roses
Buzzing bees above the blossoms
The big beautiful blossoms

I adore the sight of the swollen buds
As wind sway the soft swollen buds
Made moist by morning dew
Just about to burst open in a few

I stand staring at the red rose,
The sweet red rose,
As the buds swell and burst open
Exposing the hidden_ the pink petals

When the petals spread open
Their nice scent fill the air
My rose appears fine and fair
I love it!

A sweet rose lies between two mountains
Where a stream wets the grasses around
Where the climate is hot and wet,
And farmers scoop sweet summer honey.

I reach for the sweet soft petals
Swipe my fingers between petals
They are tidy and tender to touch
The sweet scent soothes me even much

I pluck a few for banquet roll
I hold them close to my heart
As I leave with my roses,
I feel love in the air.
