" Sweet Listenings "

There's a song
A song i long to sing
A tune so soft
No melody,is in need

A tune to sooth
The most dis-hearted soul

A un-rhyme to hear,
For an ear to listen?

So glide me away
To a melody so pure
For this sweet song
i long to hear

To all of you at the soupe.

Take care,Gary.

Great write and such a nice way to say you enjoy to visit and read at poetry soup..Let the gift of pen flow..Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work..There is a definition of Slam on here..Look down at bottom of page on left hand side under resources and click on Forms of Poetry then click on Slam at the top of that page scroll down until you come to Slam..I researched on the internet..Poetry that is to be recited or read at a competition is what I got.It is judged on presentation.Sara
