Sweet Lies Because I Don'T Want the Truth
Life sucks sometimes;
When you say not to do it...
You know I have to.
Whenever I ask...
I hear words I don't want to hear.
Why is the answer always no;
Just say what I want to hear.
Not what you think I should hear.
Ignorance is bliss,
Innocence is whimsical,
Is it better to see human flaws...?
or always be blind?
Is not knowing why better,
than crying because you know...
their secrets.
Why do I ask questions that no one hears?
I know they're not there but wait for an answer.
Is time wasted on taughts with no finish?
What is time?
Is it real?
If the truth hurts why do we ask for it?
Do humans just ask to be hurt...?
Why do we crave one another's company?
If man was meant to be alone,
why are there so many unmarried people?
I ask all this questions and seek no answer,
have I gone crazy?
Maybe I’m just ranting...
I question human nature;
But don't answer...
At least with truth.
Honesty frightens me.
For my mind maybe uncaple of it...
Tell me sweet, insincere lies.
The kind that comfort a child to rest.
Spin a tale that no one has taught before.
To be blunt, straight-forward, and frank:
Tell me lies one that make me smile because...
Sweet lies are better than bitter truths.
Why is the truth, not what it seems?
