Sweet Emotion

A feeling that wells up inside as you can just sense the pain
And no matter how had you tried those feelings won't wane
In writing down each word it encircles your every thought
Something inside has stirred in feeling what life has wrought

Just when you think you have hold and your emotions in check
Then once again you have to fold as all that pain you still reflect
Time will help in healing the pain but for some it will never heal
Such feelings you could never feign for they are all far too real

Days may soon pass by and even weeks and many years too
And now you so rarely do cry but oh how it still affects you
Like a wound that won't go away as there seems to be no cure
And even the times when you pray you don't feel all that sure

So surely you can not handle this alone nor were you expected to
There is an easier way I've known as I'd liked to explain it to you
I just put it back in God's hands for only He Truly knows my way
Only He truly understands so I just listen to what He has to say
