Sweet Dreams
I give to you this evening
With gentle hands
Caresses to keep
Warmth of the sun
As you then fall asleep
My heart I have for you
To hold in your hands
For all eternity
As we share this bond
Over endless sea
Away with the breezes
I send you a kiss
To land on your cheek
As your eyes then close
Soft words I speak
As you wake in the morning
Refreshed from the eve
Dreams still fresh in mind
You smile, I smile
As our faces, we find
Again then dream lover
We await the new eve
For then we will know
How love is to be
As to our heaven we go
