Notes About The Poem

This is a true story that happened in Upstate, N.Y. many years ago. I've never gotten over hearing about this and still weep for this murdered youngster to this day ~

sweet boy asleep in the field

sweet boy asleep in the field….his murderers
juveniles of hatred

god grieves everywhere they are….death
lingers tears of justice doesn’t fade
