Sway

Oh, to sway in a hammock of palm
Glistening in sunlight from our nearest star
Surrounded by trios of succulent mango
Heeding the beat of a jungle psalm

Oh, to rock in a cradle of cotton
Tinted by prism of rainbow delight
Regaled by the whispers of breezy blue rivers
Bedeviled by nothing, all troubles forgotten

Now you're talking my language. Sleeping in the shade on a hammock is one of those priceless simple pleasures. Nice write, Mike:)

Oh another nice one Mike. I am really enjoying your poetry. This is so relaxing. It makes me think of my hammock and having to put aside some time in it . :) This is very well written.
