swatting flies

cows and horses graze
tails sway from side to side
oh those pesty flies

Dear Karen, such a reminder of my time on the farm, especially in the heat of summer. I hated how those green-headed horse flies bite. Now it is the biting beach flies when I go to the shore. Thanks for the memories. Blessings, Daniel
