Swan Maiden
Swan Maiden felt joyful, she was in an enthusiastic state.
The day had started out good and then turned out great.
She had transmogrified into a swan six years or so ago.
Today she changed back into herself with a new glow.
Being a swan had taught her patience for sure.
It had given her a peek at herself more than a mirror.
She knew herself better now than she ever had before.
She glided in the water, barely turning it, heading for shore.
Her prince charming had replaced her with another.
But this was okay, because he had a dour mean mother.
She found a new guy, who loved everything about her.
He adored her lovely countenance, she was tender and pure.
