Suzy Finds Her Soul Mate
Suzy Finds Her Soul Mate
By Elton Camp
We couldn’t believe what Suzy said
That she, next week would be wed
“Oh, he is so the man of my dreams.”
She couldn’t be any happier, it seems
“Every day he tells how he loves me so.
And of all the wonderful places we’ll go.
He says that I am just his little Honey,
Not marrying him because he has money.”
“And he also is as handsome as can be.
In him, Matt Damon’s face I always see.
Colin’s a lover of good music and fine art.
He swears that, when wed, we’ll never part.”
We asked why it was Colin we hadn’t met
“Why, even I haven’t actually done that yet.
But his picture and description he has sent
All he has promised, I know that he meant.”
Suzy thought it so wonderful she could find
Her soul mate so easily by just going online
Her money to the wedding she plans to take
We just hope she’s not making a big mistake
Meanwhile, Colin is feeling his scruffy beard
Because he is old, evil, and poor as we feared
And then he checks the sharpness of his knife
As his completes his plans for his latest wife
