Susurrus

Sumptuous rasp to die for,
utterly mouthwatering sound.
Say it just a little bit softer,
under the cover of midnight.
Run your tenor through my hair,
reveal the soprano within me.
Unpack all that is harbored,
saying it low with a susurrus.
