Ahhh, yes!—- so as I began my commebco,,ent to note my sweet thought of relating to this sight, this metaphor in my past, my husband began to change the bandage on my foot on a Serious wound…just as ended the hhh…well, he sent me into 45 sec. Of STUNNONGpain. I thought,”I am struggling up through concrete”Oh, my Sara! You surely penned it! Your words also sustained as I screamed. Thank you!

Sally, So sad to learn of your agonizing pain from a while ago that came to light once again when thinking of the zinnia's struggle at living. It has survived through it all so something beautiful can come from a hard struggle. Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara

Flowers can be most resilient, especially those that go uncared for, sometimes they are stronger than their counterparts, Nicely penned dear Sara, I can feel you love for them, thank you for sharing.

Mystic, Yes, it came up in a place that it is able to grow but of course it would have been better to come up in some soil where I am watering some. The ones that came up in the soil are very slow to get started since it has been so dry this year. Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara

Thought zinnias needed more care. But then I am not a gardener.

Victor, I really do not know about zinnias either. However, I looked them up and they like it hot and somewhat dry. So, I guess that is why it came up in that cement crack and is thriving. I learned a few more things about them by looking them up so it will help me care for them if I plant them again in my garden. Thanks for the visit. Sara

Eve, Thank you. I have let it stay instead of pulling it up or spraying it with weed killer which would have killed it over night. Sara

Well-penned Haiku, Sarra. Indeed, frozen zinnia seeds might be hidden there and just sprout when it gets warmer. Blessings

Sotto, Yes, I am sure that one little seed got in the crack and there was enough soil for it to take root. We have been really dry here this spring and I don't see how it has survived but it has. Thanks for the visit. Sara
