Step 1
Block the clock
Obscure its view
Nothing old
Nothing new
Only now in which the
Me and the you
Commune as the single sum
Though, in the distance
the chime sounds one
Step 2
Forget every word
Ever sung
Ever heard
In a maddening passion
For understanding
Accept the pure silence in
The science of
Aphonic visions together
We have known and knew
As the distant chime
Sounds two
Step 3
Block your brain
Don’t think
Nor even blink
Or follow the rabbit trails
That lead to the failure
Of an unfamiliar nowhere
You are here
You can hear
The harmonics of our
Deep breath duet exhaled
And free
As the distant chime
sounds three
