Surviving suicide
In the depths of despair, a journey begins,
Surviving suicide, a battle we must win.
In darkness we stumbled, lost and alone,
Seeking forgiveness, compassion to be shown.
Through the rubble of pain, we rise anew,
Finding strength within, to start life anew.
The path of healing, long and steep,
But love's embrace, a potion to keep.
Forgiveness blooms, like a gentle flower,
Cleansing the wounds, granting inner power.
Compassion, a guiding light in the night,
Bringing comfort, igniting a spark, so bright.
Understanding dawns, shedding judgment's weight,
Embracing brokenness, banishing hate.
In empathetic hearts, scars find their place,
As we journey together, with love's grace.
For in surviving, we learn to give,
To seek redemption, in the lives we live.
With open arms, we offer love's embrace,
Walking beside others, sharing their space.
Let compassion heal, understanding restore,
In the aftermath of pain, we rise, we soar.
For forgiveness, compassion, love unite,
To heal wounds, and ignite the light.
