Surrounding Sky, For Lovers Only

Surrounding Sky

Only you, know the sounds of oars 
in the starlit summer lake.
The moonlit waters, when the heavens
your hearts did suddenly take.

Those most tender soft kisses that
were innocent bound.
Whilst an unknown bird, flew over the
bow, not making one sound.

A picture in time, that God fashioned
just for you.
An eternal, summers’ portrait that was
created for only you to view.

I spent summers at Lake Como or Lake Geneva...what innocent fun and joy. We drove speedboats in-the day...fished, swam, cooked oudoors. Idyllic, it was, Gershon.
