Garden city mists

Sun beams warm

Old rubber tree presence;
Song of old times

Brown squirrel
Curious zigzag runs;
Tree trunk detour

New cafe corner
Pizza and chicken;
Beer and coffee
~~~~~~~~~
Small boy stares
Old man sighs;
Two different worlds

Ancient ways
Modern times oppose;
Conflicts ooze
~~~~~~~~~
Sea of faces
Yet one feels alone;
Modern angst
