Surprise
Did someone ever surprise you
In such a way
That you did not know what to say
Did events in your life ever take a turn
And all of a sudden there you are
Up in the air
Did you ever feel your life settle
Only to find
You have to again grasp the nettle
Did you ever think
Ah now I know
Only to be left scratching your brow
Did you ever look around
And be surprised
At what you found
What do you feel
About life's deal
Always moving on
Always changing
Life rearranging
