Oh my darling come to me
I long for you and want to be
Wherever you are, us and we
Plural pronouns that agree
I love my dreams, I really do
They may be good but they're still not you
And though at times they seem so real
I'd rather have something I can feel
Your lips I'd kiss romantically
I wouldn't kiss them frantically
But gently like a soft spring rain
Though inside might brew a hurricane
I'd keep desire well intact
Despite my instinct to react
