Super 'soupers'
This week I joined an international group
That goes by the name of 'Poetry Soup'.
The members all vary from amateurs to pro
From the famous and great to the average Jo.
The 'Soupers' share works of numerous kinds.
They reveal how creatively one can express what's in mind.
The power of poetry operates on those
Who truly appreciate what these works really show.
Poetry allows a voice to be heard,
Gives the writer a chance to choose the right words.
Poetry can stir deep pools of emotion,
Can touch souls, can declare devotion...
It's exciting to read what these 'Super Soupers' share
And to have a mutual passion with people everywhere!
