Notes About The Poem

My daughter is the best, and gave me the best granddaughters. Hope you other dads feel the same.

Super Dad

Super Dad
By Franklin Price

“Super Dad”, that's what it says
The shirt my daughter mailed
I'm happy she thinks that of me
Doesn't mean I never failed

I always tried to teach what's right
To consider one another
Don't think she ever doubted
That I love her and her mother

A family's what we always are
No matter what our ages
In our book of life together
Still adding to the pages

On this Father's day that's here
Know that I am very glad
To have a grown-up daughter
Who still thinks I'm “Super Dad”
