SUNSHINE !!!
SUNSHINE !!!
For the first time, from the windows of my humble abode, a sunny day.
reflecting its glow upon the white sentinels, the earth colours that sway
under flawless, parrot blue sky’s, hovering above all sentient life in a way
that greets these tired old eyes with hope, that there will be more, I pray.
Weeks, far too many, light shrouded by ominous, dark clouds of gray
that set ones psyche into stages of gloom, from which they seem to stay,
lingering on and on, and on until we are finally tossed into the fray,
psychologically forced to do battle with the universes forces and may
face Mothers Natures ever present, uncontrollable, untameable powers
as she has constantly rained down upon us poor souls, her heavy showers.
