Sunsets Blaze Orange

The sun sets on another day
It was a day like any other
With one big exception
But it was a glorious day
No rain
No haze and
Not a cloud in the sky
Blue abounded all around
That is why it seemed so odd to…
(no not yet)

The grass was green
And smelled of freshly cut
Flowers bloomed with a gloriousness
Yet unseen till today
( I don’t think you can tease them any longer)
Ok I will tell them
Today’s big event unlike all the others was…
I died

What more could I ask for today? It is a beautiful day the sun shining and birds singing. Thank you for sharing your excellent poetry with us Eddie. Love, Carol
