Sunset Meadow

Shadows deep and long
Crept across sunset meadow
I dreamed of you
In my heart
Where you did belong

Pink and soft grey
Sunset meadow
Gone for another day

Shadows, deep and long
Crept across my heart
I lost you
To the night

Pinks and greys
Faded to blue
In to the night
Across sunset meadow
A castle
Lit by star and faerie light
Began to glow

I dreamed of you
In a sunset meadow
Lost too
In its’ glow
