Sunset Flute

Night is near in the Celtic realm with nothing to fear Before eating that dreamy fruit let the fairies play a blissful lullaby with the sacred sunset flute for you'll find fulfilling gold as your eyes slowly close to the sounds that slowly unfold making burdens come out in bursting flows The fairies pray to the moon who will watch over you on this warm night in late June to tuck you in moonlight, colored blue Sunset flute, play us a lullaby Sunset flute, help our worst nightmares die Sunset flute, bless all under the sky Now dance freely in the zone To a hymn, making it your own Set your limits on fire Move as you desire To fly a bit higher So joy may transpire

You have no chorus ? And the syllables need balance? If you would listen to songs, you would know that simple rhymes are not used? Look up lyric sheets and that will give you a templet--good luck.

I really got into your poem, each stanza was soothing, a caress and I adored ' ... tuck you in moonlight.' I'm more relaxed now than I should be due to the tranquility in your poem. Enjoyed. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

I wanted to come see your example. It is a lovely poem, Vermillion. I like how you identified the sunset as a flute. Wonderful creativity.
