Sunset

Along the feathered edge, the red sun sets,
Birds go back to their home like jets.
Sunflower loses sight of sun,
Animals sing lullabye to their son.

Sunset makes the sky go pink,
Its the most beautiful sight you could ever think.
All the flowers close their petals,
It is as good as song of beatles.

Sun has completely drowned,
You can hear crickets sound.
The still water of lake reflects the moon,
To be morning it is too soon.

The sun awakes from his long slumber,
He wants to eat a cucumber.
Jay makes his hounds,
Others respond to him with their shouts

I love it that the sun wants to eat a cucumber. Putting that in made me smile. I may think of it all day, Maninder. I love the unexpected!
