Sunset
As the sun disappears below the horizon
Making the sky murky and dark
Hues from the atmospheric particles act
Like a prism and retract the light
The clouds slowly embark on their journey
To blanket the softness of the night
Fireflies light up the elements
The wind is in favor it takes up residence
As the stars ascend into view
Yielding off a luminous hue
With a everlasting perpetual
Brilliantly intellectual
Pristine in its design
Immaculately defined
