Sun's Purpose

The sun rises saying hello, Awaking nature from below. Flowers begin to glisten, Wind blows for all to listen. The trees stand taller than before, Leaves dance as they fall more and more. The bright light forms shadows that highlight the ground, Many animals search for food all around. Grass feels the warmth and begins to grow, The garden colors put on a show. The sun displays the world so grand, It spreads across the vast green land. But then the sun begins to rest, It is almost finished its quest. It slowly moves out of sight, Bringing forth the darken night. The sleepy sun sets, nature’s beauty is hard to see, We wait for tomorrow for another day to be.
