Sunrises and Sunsets
Oh, the beautiful sunrises and sunsets
Will soon be seen from my home and new.
The leaves quietly fall to open the door to view.
Something brilliant to look forward to.
Spreading color across the sky and hill.
I will cherish the peaceful moments
When time almost completely stands still.
I always seem to stop in awe.
As if it is something I never saw.
The next one I haven’t.
So I will hold it in my memory so close
In the background to never forget.
The sunrises and sunsets.
