Sunrise

A new day dawns,
The stars dwindle and fade.
The mantle of darkness recedes into the west.
The world awakens restored to it's Cathedra.

I live on a little Island called the Isle of Man - writing poems has made me appreciate the true beauty that surrounds us and not just take it for granted :-) Hugs Jan xxx

Thanks Jan, I always have loved sun rise also, spent many a morning watching it rise up from the ocean, so peacefull and serene, just you standing alone in silence with this so beautiful vista opening around you. The universe is a truly a place of beauty
