Sunrise
I know I'm not lacking
but I'm not a choice
I can see it in your eyes
I can hear it in your voice
I pretend it isn't so
but that's a lot of noise
you say I'm a treasure
but you don't say why
is it all the game
or could it be my mind
you want to be with me
to watch the sunrise
you're looking this way
but it's not me you see
you're talking this way
but you can't hear me
no matter what I do
I know it'll never be
it wasn't one-sided
I was playing too
I was pretty quick
but couldn't keep up with you
didn't know all the steps
to this dance that you do
