Sunrays

Face-brighteners.
Heart-lighteners.
As if each is full of
Loving intent.

Less clings, dismays
Weary-trudged days.
Snatched up, through its surprise
Thought. Life-content.

To the degree
On high, in He
So beguiled, bow-enshrined
Rests. Chirps fervent.
