Great observation, though not all trees shed their leaves in winter.

Deciduous trees (albeit there are exceptions) lose their leaves as the Autumn season progresses. Conifers drop needles at various rates but are not usually associated with the shedding of leaves, as are the broadleaf trees during Autumn. This monoku is one in a series of four of comparatives of deciduous trees with the changing seasons. Thank you for your interest and comment.
