Sunlit Sanctum of Life

In the obscurity of the dismal opaque night, across the dark landscape of formidable plight, you need to take the ordained journey left, for you have promises waiting to be kept, but the winding track of illusive time you lose in the tormenting gloomy labyrinth morose. The whispering wind passes you by and you hear, it tells you this journey has no perceptible end near. You're lost in wilderness fold away from home empty, feel the crumbling heart writhing in the grip of agony. Collecting fortitude from the vestige of hope surviving, you pray to the almighty for the divine touch of healing. At the fringe of the fleeting forlorn moment, glowing in the inner heavenly light resplendent, you’ll see the new sunrise in splendorous dawn with rays of hope radiating from the hued horizon, illumining mind's dark abyss by golden kindness beam. Your prayers will light up the essence of the supreme where you’ll perceive with joy the divine light glow, shining on the corroding misery’s stream of dark flow, you’ll cross, leaving behind the shadows of strife, find the promised path to the sunlit sanctum of life. ___________________ February 3, 2022 Contest : Joy, Hope And Kindness Sponsored By : Angela Tune
